Vertiv Unveils SmartIT Platform for AI Data Centres

Vertiv has launched SmartIT, a pre-engineered infrastructure platform. It is designed to speed up high-density AI deployments. It can also simplify data centre integration.
The platform combines rack infrastructure, power conversion and distribution. It can also help in direct-to-chip liquid cooling. It is built on NVIDIA MGX and Open Compute Project (OCP) ORV3 architectures. Moreover, it supports AI systems including NVIDIA GB300 NVL72, Vera Rubin NVL72, DGX Rubin NVL8 and HGX Rubin NVL8.
Vertiv is reducing the need for installation on site by doing most of the important work beforehand. This means less time spent coordinating various vendors. SmartIT is suitable for both new data centres and already existing enterprise facilities.
Its module design provides flexibility. In addition to that, the solution provides clients with continuous monitoring, leak detection and automated reactions. Support for Redfish, SNMP and Modbus protocols ensures compatibility with existing management systems. Vertiv Global Services will help customers to deploy, launch and support the solution over its lifecycle.
