Dataprophet

DataProphet was founded in 2014 by Frans Cronje and Daniel Schwartzkopff in Cape Town, South Africa, and has since grown into a global leader in AI-driven manufacturing solutions. Its two flagship products - DataProphet PRESCRIBE and CONNECT - apply advanced machine learning to optimise production processes, cut defects by at least 50%, and lift yield and efficiency. PRESCRIBE, an Expert Execution System, delivers real-time prescriptive analytics that guide operators toward optimal control settings; CONNECT, a secure IIoT platform, centralises factory data from PLCs, historians, and other sources to get it AI-ready. Customer industries include automotive, foundries, and mining, with partnerships at Condals and Norican Group. Notable outcomes include a 55% defect reduction at one engine block manufacturer.
