Operational technology security is moving higher up the enterprise agenda as industrial systems become more connected—and the latest Gartner recognition puts two established players, Nozomi Networks and Claroty, in the spotlight.
Nozomi Networks has been named a Leader in The Forrester Wave: Operational Technology Security Solutions,, while Claroty has received the 2026 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice distinction for Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) Protection Platforms. The announcements arrive as manufacturers, utilities and other critical infrastructure operators face a wider attack surface spanning OT, IoT and connected physical systems.
For Nozomi, the Forrester recognition highlights the company’s push into AI-assisted OT security, with strong scores in areas including asset discovery, threat detection, risk modelling, endpoint response and compliance tracking, making it a good fit for security leaders looking to introduce AI capabilities into OT environments.
That AI focus has become a major part of Nozomi’s recent product strategy, including its Vantage IQ private AI assistant, automated threat-response capabilities and AI-driven threat detection.
Claroty’s recognition comes from a different angle: customer experience. The company recorded a 4.9/5 overall rating and 97% willingness to recommend, based on 149 Gartner Peer Insights reviews, the largest review count among vendors evaluated in the report. It also scored 4.9 for product capabilities and support experience.
The two announcements follow another important development earlier this year. Gartner’s 2026 Magic Quadrant for CPS Protection Platforms placed both Nozomi Networks and Claroty among its Leaders, alongside Armis.
The bigger takeaway is that OT security is increasingly being evaluated as a dedicated discipline rather than an extension of conventional IT security. Visibility into industrial assets, understanding their behaviour, prioritising vulnerabilities and protecting operational continuity are becoming central to cyber-resilience strategies.
For these giants, the latest recognition reinforces their positions in a market where security increasingly has to protect not just data, but the physical processes that depend on it.
