Lohum Cleantech, founded in 2018 and based in Greater Noida, is a leading climate-tech company specializing in lithium-ion battery manufacturing, recycling, and second-life applications. It produces advanced lithium-ion battery packs and recycles end-of-life batteries to recover high-purity lithium, cobalt, nickel, and graphite through its proprietary, zero-waste NEETM technology. The company also repurposes batteries for second-life uses such as energy storage and low-power e-mobility and refines cathode active material (CAM) by low-carbon methods. Running eight facilities, including India's largest lithium and cobalt refineries, Lohum holds a 90% share of integrated lithium-ion battery recycling in India.
