Waste Robotics

AI-powered robotic solutions for waste sorting, intelligent robots equipped with hyperspectral cameras, computer vision, and deep-learning algorithms that sort metals, construction & demolition (C&D) waste, organics, and recyclables such as plastics and polystyrene with up to 5% higher purity than traditional AI systems, are the field Waste Robotics leads, a Canadian cleantech company. Established in 2016 and headquartered in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, its solutions, with a processing capacity of 10 tonnes of municipal solid waste per hour and an extraction speed of 1200 picks/hour, enhance efficiency and safety in material-recovery facilities (MRFs), and it offers a 'Sorting-as-a-Service' model, reducing capital risk for clients such as Randy's Sanitation.
