LICO Materials Private Limited, founded in 2021, is a leading lithium-ion battery recycler committed to building a sustainable circular economy. It recycles end-of-life lithium-ion batteries, recovering critical minerals such as lithium, cobalt, manganese, and nickel at up to 92% material-recovery efficiency, and it also makes repurposed energy-storage systems for commercial and mobility use, supporting India's clean-energy transition. From a modern, zero-liquid-discharge facility in Bengaluru, it currently handles 3,000 metric tons a year, with plans to reach 44,000 tons by 2027 through strategic partnerships using hydrometallurgy.
