Screw compactors and recycling machinery for waste compaction and dewatering, the SK120, SK200, SK240, and SK370 screw compactors plus dewatering systems, are the field RUNI A/S leads. Founded in 1973 in Tarm, Denmark, initially as a metal forger for agricultural equipment, it shifted to screw compactors in 1996, developing robust machines for compacting EPS (expanded polystyrene), PET bottles, aluminum cans, and RDF (refuse-derived fuel), with the SK series compacting EPS at a 50:1 ratio to a density of about 350 kg/m3 and dewatering systems separating liquids from solids in materials such as PE film and dairy products. Its machines serve recycling, waste-to-energy, and food-processing customers, with applications in anaerobic digestion, cement kilns, and retail, and with more than 2,000 machines installed worldwide RUNI supports sustainability and circular-economy goals, offering energy-efficient, durable equipment with a 2-year warranty or 6,000 operating hours, customized solutions including silo systems and pre-crushers, and long-term customer support backed by high-quality engineering.
