Extracthive

Founded in 2015, Extracthive is a French SME dedicated to circular-economy solutions, with industrial waste recycling at the centre. Its proprietary PHYre technology recycles carbon fibre reinforced polymers (CFRPs) from composite waste, producing high-quality, sustainable carbon fibres with a 90% reduced greenhouse gas footprint compared with virgin fibres. The product range includes PHYre DRY (long), PHYre CSM (chopped), and PHYre CMF (micronised), serving aeronautics, automotive, and wind energy customers. The solvent-based process retains more than 98% of the fibres' mechanical properties, enabling applications in non-wovens, compounds, and additive manufacturing. Sustainability runs through innovation, creativity, and integrity, with the company aligning with UN Sustainable Development Goals.
