Interzero, founded in 1991 as Interseroh, is a leading European environmental-service provider headquartered in Berlin, with operations in 10 countries. Specializing in circular-economy solutions, it offers recycling and take-back systems, inventive plastic recycling, and packaging-licensing services. Its sorting capacity is the largest in Europe, and facilities such as the Marl plant process up to 200,000 tons of lightweight packaging a year. Fraunhofer UMSICHT calculated that its recycling work saved 1 million tons of greenhouse gases and 8.7 million tons of primary raw materials in 2022.
