Based in Quebec, Exterra Carbon Solutions operates as a Canadian cleantech innovator transforming mining waste into low-carbon minerals while permanently sequestering CO2 through engineered mineralisation. The proprietary LOW process extracts reactive metal oxides - magnesium and calcium oxides among them - from mining residues; the ROC process then converts these oxides into stable carbonates at the surface, supporting durable, atmospheric CO2 removal.
