Articulus Surgical

Articulus Surgical, set up in 2020 by Saurya Mishra, headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, is developing the Articulus Pulsar Surgical Robotics System, a hybrid surgical robot for minimally invasive surgery (MAS). Aimed at being 5x more affordable and portable than competitors, it targets 170 million patients globally, serving hospitals in automotive, medical, and healthcare sectors. The patent-pending system, interoperable with existing hospital infrastructure, is under development, awaiting animal and human trials. Supported by IIMA Ventures, BIRAC, and Startup India, the company has raised undisclosed funding and employs 11-50 staff. It won awards at IIMA Healthcare Summit 2023.
