Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Tigard, Oregon, Agilyx is a technology company pioneering the chemical recycling of hard-to-recycle plastics, with a focus on polystyrene (PS) and PMMA. Its proprietary catalyst-free pyrolysis and depolymerization technologies, including Styrenyx and TruStyrenyx, turn plastic waste into virgin-quality monomers for new plastics, fuels, and naphtha, supporting a circular economy. Through its Cyclyx joint venture with ExxonMobil and LyondellBasell, Agilyx supplies custom-formulated feedstock for mechanical and advanced recycling. Another venture, Plastyx, sources high-quality polymers for food-grade and technical packaging in Europe. With more than 2,500 systems deployed worldwide and a new polystyrene recycling facility in Japan (3,000 tons/year capacity), Agilyx serves industries such as packaging and consumer goods.
