R Mukundan Assumes CII Presidency for 2026-27

The Confederation of Indian Industry appointed R Mukundan as President for 2026-27. He succeeded Rajiv Memani following the National Council meeting this month.

Mukundan serves as Managing Director and CEO of Tata Chemicals Limited. He brings over three decades of experience within Tata Group across chemicals, automotive, and hospitality sectors. 

Mukundan previously served as CII President-Designate for 2025-26.
