Generalist AI Lands $400 Million funding

What happened: Taking total funds raise to more than half a billion this round was led by  Radical ventures, joined by 8VC, Union Square Ventures, NVIDIA and others.

Why it matters: The capital funds the next wave of models, a larger physical data engine, and more compute and training infrastructure. The firm wants intelligence that carries across robot types, settings and tasks rather than one machine.

Industry context: Its GEN-0 model showed scaling laws hold in – next model – GEN-1 ran up to three times faster and hit 99% reliability.
