Established in 2000, it runs manufacturing facilities in Bangalore and Hubli, Karnataka, and in September 2023 broke ground on a new factory campus in Hubli-Dharwad meant to house six plants supporting different Motion & Energy segments, an expansion that reflects Nidec's commitment to strengthening its Indian manufacturing presence for a growing economy.
