Igema India Pvt. Ltd. was set up in 2013 as a subsidiary of Igema GmbH to serve business needs in India and beyond. Its head office sits in Pune, while its factory is located at GAT No. 408, Kondhanpur Road, Khed Shivapur, Pune 412205, Maharashtra. The parent, Igema GmbH, is a 100-year-old company founded in Germany in 1919 and originally called J.G. Merkens, taking the Igema GmbH name in 1964. It is a pioneer in liquid-level measuring technology as well as in heat and steam technology, and its world-class plant in Munster, Germany, manufactures products to customer requirements in keeping with international standards.
