Eldan Recycling A/S started up in 1956 in Copenhagen and now operates from Faaborg, Denmark, as a global leader in manufacturing recycling equipment for tyres, cables, electronics (WEEE), aluminium, and municipal solid waste. Sales offices in Germany, the USA, the UK, Belarus, the Baltics, and Turkey support the operation, with more than 1,200 systems and 8,100 machines installed worldwide. Tyre recycling plants such as the E-Plant produce high-purity rubber granulate (99.99%) and steel wire at throughputs of up to 20,000 kg/hour - the Suomen Rengaskierraetys Oy project in Finland is one example. Cable recycling lines, strengthened by the 2016 acquisition of Redoma Recycling, handle 200 to 12,000 kg/hour. Eldan's partnership with Picvisa integrates optical sorting, and ISO 9001-certified solutions emphasise durability - machines routinely run for more than 25 years.
