Duerr AG started life in 1896 when Paul Duerr opened a metal shop in Bad Cannstatt, Germany, and has since grown into a global leader in mechanical and plant engineering, with expertise spanning automation, digitalisation, and energy efficiency. Today the Duerr Group operates from Bietigheim-Bissingen with three main brands: Duerr, Schenck, and HOMAG. The Duerr brand specialises in turnkey painting and final assembly systems, robot technologies, and digital solutions such as DXQplant.analytics for automotive production. Exhaust air purification and noise abatement systems extend the company's reach into chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and battery production.
