Contrinex develops smart sensing technology for factory automation, with particular strengths in harsh environments and tight spaces. Run from Corminboeuf in Switzerland, the company makes inductive proximity sensors, photoelectric sensors, 3D Smart Cameras, RFID systems, and Safetinex safety light curtains. IO-Link compatibility and ASIC-based design underpin standout products such as the MiniMini inductive sensor, which find their way into automotive, food and beverage, and robotics environments. Siemens and Bosch are among the customers; distribution stretches across more than 60 countries, with India coverage through partners. ISO-9001 and Ecolab certifications cover quality and hygiene compliance, and after more than 50 years in the business, Contrinex continues to innovate - its 3D Smart Camera was a finalist for the 2025 Fribourg Freiburg Innovation Prize.
