Founded in 2005, China Techenergy Co., Ltd. (CTEC), also known as Beijing Guangli Nuclear System Engineering Co., Ltd., is a high-tech enterprise specialising in nuclear-grade digital instrumentation and control systems (DCS) for nuclear power plants. A joint venture between China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN) and Hollysys Automation Technologies, CTEC is headquartered in Beijing, China, with a 20,000-square-meter production base in Yongfeng Technology Park. Its flagship product, the Harmony System (released in 2010), is China's first proprietary nuclear-grade DCS platform, enabling the country to join a select group of nations with advanced nuclear control technology. CTEC provides integrated solutions for safety and non-safety control systems, simulators, and testing equipment, serving industries such as nuclear power, with applications in CPR1000 and Hualong One reactors. The company has set up a strong project management system, as demonstrated in the CPR1000 DCS expansion project (2007), and holds certifications such as ISO9001 and nuclear safety equipment licences. CTEC operates worldwide, with projects in Asia and beyond, and is recognised for its contributions to China's nuclear self-reliance.
