Founded in 2019, Angsa Robotics GmbH is a Munich-based startup specialising in autonomous robots for waste collection on grass and gravel surfaces. Its flagship product, the Emu robot, uses AI and computer vision to detect and remove small trash items such as cigarette butts and bottle caps while preserving grass and insects. The robot supports municipal park cleaning and post-event cleanup, offered through a Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) model for flexible, scalable waste management. Angsa has deployed Emu in five German cities, including Berlin, and works with Germany's largest municipal waste disposal company.
