Basler and Orbbec have partnered to develop industrial 3D vision solutions for robotics and logistics, with the collaboration announced at LogiMAT 2026 in Stuttgart.
Their first product, the Basler Stereo mini camera, combines stereo vision hardware with accessories, configurations, and integration through Basler’s pylon SDK.
The system targets applications such as navigation, obstacle detection, and environment mapping for autonomous mobile robots and automated guided vehicles. It allows developers to add 3D vision capabilities without overhauling existing software stacks, reducing deployment complexity.
The partnership combines Orbbec’s depth sensing and manufacturing scale with Basler’s industrial reach and strengthens both companies’ positioning in compact, high-performance 3D vision systems.
