Infosys Acquires Optimum Healthcare IT in $465 Million Deal

Infosys will pay $465 million cash for US-based Optimum Healthcare IT, pending regulatory approval. The company also announced a separate $95 million acquisition of insurance tech firm Stratus—total deal value $560 million.

Optimum specializes in electronic health record advisory and implementation, with AWS, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Azure partnerships. Revenue hit $276 million for the year ending December 2024 across hospitals, health systems, and payers.

The acquisition adds provider segment clients and deepens healthcare IT integration capabilities. Optimum’s clinical systems expertise pairs with Infosys’ AI and cloud platforms. The $465 million price tag makes it Infosys’ second-largest acquisition.

Both deals support scaling AI-driven and cloud solutions across healthcare and insurance verticals. The moves diversify Infosys beyond traditional IT services into specialized domain expertise with operational reach in the United States.
