Hyderabad based Workroom Automation pulled in ₹6.2 crore in seed funding, backed by Equirus InnovateX Fund alongside Astir Ventures and Venture Catalysts Group. The capital injection targets product development and scaling enterprise sales for its connected factory platform.
The startup tackles manufacturing complexity by unifying people, processes, and machines into a single system. Production planning, real-time tracking, and quality control sit on one dashboard, pulling data from ERP systems, machines, and shop floors.
The fresh capital will sharpen its AI planning engine and expand automation capabilities. Equirus InnovateX, the early-stage arm of investment bank Equirus Group, typically hunts for post-product companies moving toward product-market fit in B2B tech sectors like SaaS and deep tech.
Workroom’s platform integrates with existing MES and ERP infrastructure, handling everything from scheduling to efficiency tracking. The company positions itself as accessible to manufacturers of all sizes.
