Bosch SDS and Dassault Systèmes Target Factory Data Silos With AI Partnership

Indian manufacturers are being pushed to move beyond isolated automation projects, and Bosch Software and Digital Solutions (Bosch SDS) and Dassault Systèmes are betting that tighter connections between engineering, factory operations and AI can help close that gap.

The two companies have announced a collaboration in India that combines Dassault Systemes Virtual Twin, product lifecycle management, digital manufacturing and manufacturing operations technologies with Bosch SDS’ expertise in industrial data, IT/OT integration, machine intelligence and manufacturing transformation. 

An initial project with a leading Indian electric vehicle manufacturer is combining Dassault Systèmes’ DELMIA Apriso MES with Bosch SDS’ transformation capabilities to create more connected, real-time operations, with production efficiency, quality and digital traceability among the key focus areas. 

Bosch SDS and Dassault Systèmes plan to work on Industrial AI and agentic AI applications, Digital Thread implementation, contextualised industrial data, energy management, smart factories and machine-level intelligence. Digital Product Passport capabilities and regulatory readiness are also part of the collaboration. 

The two companies will jointly develop and take solutions to market with focus across industries like automotive, electronics, batteries, semiconductors, industrial machinery and consumer durables etc.

 They would look to connect the data that traditionally remains fragmented across design teams, production lines and enterprise systems and thereby help manufacturers turn engineering data, shop-floor intelligence and AI into a continuous operational loop and not merely a disconnected digital tool.
