Affordable, human-scale 3D printers such as Gigabot and GigabotX are the business of re:3D, a socially responsible company breaking barriers in 3D printing. Founded in 2013, its industrial-grade printers let entrepreneurs, educators, and manufacturers create large objects from diverse materials, including recycled plastics, and through its Gigalab in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, in partnership with the Engine-4 Foundation, it offers tools to repurpose discarded materials such as water bottles and manufacturing waste into new items.
