Axion Polymers

Founded in 2006, Axion Polymers is a UK-based leader in resource recovery, operating advanced sorting and reprocessing plants in Manchester and Salford. A wholly owned subsidiary of S. Norton Group since 2018, Axion produces high-quality recycled polymers (Axpoly ABS, polypropylene, polystyrene pellets, and Axplas mixed plastic chips) and solid recovered fuels (SRF) from end-of-life vehicles (ELV) and waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Its products meet virgin polymer standards, serving industries such as automotive, construction, and electronics, with notable collaborations such as supplying Volvo Car Group for a recycled-plastics XC60 model. With ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications, Axion emphasises sustainability, reducing landfill waste and greenhouse gas emissions through a UK-based supply chain in line with circular-economy goals.
