Greaves Cotton Appoints Vinay Pawar as Group CTO

Greaves Cotton has named Vinay Pawar Group Chief Technology Officer, effective May 4, 2026. He’ll lead company’s technology strategy under its Greaves.NEXT transformation plan.
Pawar brings 30 years across automotive electronics, industrial automation, and connected mobility. He joins from Spark Minda Group and has had experience with companies like Continental Automotive, Bosch, and ABB.
He’ll drive product innovation, digital capabilities, and emerging areas like e-powertrain systems and future mobility. His appointment comes as Greaves—with a 165-year legacy—pushes into new business segments beyond its core engine manufacturing.
Greaves operates across energy, mobility, and industrial sectors, with a strong presence in defense and naval applications.
