Ashok Leyland Elevates K.M. Balaji to CFO and Whole Time Director

Balaji, currently President of Finance and CFO at the company, brings more than thirty years of in-house experience to the role. Over that span he has worked across treasury, budgeting, costing, investor relations, business finance, taxation and product cost management.

His track record also covers M&A evaluation, debt fundraising and overseas finance operations, including assignments tied to the company’s bus assembly facility in the United Kingdom. Taken together, his experience runs from financial strategy and corporate finance to hands-on operational management in the automotive sector.

A CAt by training, Balaji has completed executive programmes at HBS, ISB and IIMA .
