Telecommunications infrastructure provider Sterlite Technologies has reappointed Ankit Agarwal as Managing Director for another five-year term, reinforcing leadership continuity as the company pursues global expansion and sustainability goals.
The board approved Agarwal’s reappointment on April 29, 2026, for a term running from October 8, 2026 to October 7, 2031, subject to shareholder approval. The decision underscores confidence in his strategic direction after over 15 years with the company.
Agarwal has driven Sterlite Technologies’ international footprint across India, the United States, United Kingdom, Italy, China, and Brazil. Under his leadership, the company has advanced ambitious Net-Zero by 2030 sustainability targets while strengthening its position in the digital infrastructure sector.
