Hanwha Group is building out a serious India presence, targeting three converging growth areas: AI-powered security, industrial automation, and energy.
The first milestone is Hanwha Vision earning India’s STQC cybersecurity certification — a requirement for supplying security equipment in the country. India’s video surveillance market is expanding at over 10% annually through 2030, driven by AI analytics demand and smart infrastructure buildout. Hanwha Vision plans to expand its product range, scale local support, and open customer experience centres in the market.
The India push is part of a broader corporate restructuring — Hanwha has reorganised its tech and life solutions businesses under a new holding structure aimed at unlocking synergies across high-growth markets.
