Running alongside IFS, Metal Forming Expo 2026 presented a broader view of manufacturing technologies, with a clear tilt toward automation, productivity, and digital integration.
The exhibition featured CNC machinery, sheet metal processing systems, laser cutting, bending, welding technologies, and factory automation solutions. Live machine demonstrations drew steady attention, particularly from MSMEs evaluating upgrades to improve throughput and reduce manual dependency.
India Automation Hub team interacted with several exhibitors on Automation and Industry 4.0 applications which was also the central theme of the event. Exhibitors demonstrated robotics integration, smart production systems, and software-driven process optimization tools. The focus was practical—reducing downtime, improving repeatability, and enabling data-driven production decisions.

Conference sessions and technical discussions ran parallel to the exhibition, covering topics such as digital manufacturing adoption, supply chain resilience, and process optimization. Attendance at these sessions indicated strong interest from mid-sized manufacturers looking to transition toward more structured and automated operations.
The overall tone of the expo was execution-focused—less conceptual, more aligned with immediate operational improvements and investment decisions.
