₹15,554 Crore disbursed to the Electronics Sector Under PLI Scheme

C large-scale manufacturing and IT hardware segments. The disbursement represents the largest allocation among 14 PLI scheme sectors.

Total cumulative incentives across all PLI sectors reached ₹28,748 crore as of December 2025. The schemes attracted over ₹2.16 lakh crore in investments while generating incremental production worth ₹4.2 lakh crore during the current financial year through December.

Electronics manufacturing recorded incremental production of ₹2.45 lakh crore in the period. The auto and auto components sector received ₹2,377.56 crore in disbursements, with incremental production hitting ₹13,126 crore.

Other sector disbursements included pharmaceuticals (₹6,022 crore), food products (₹2,163 crore), telecommunications (₹1,859 crore), white goods (₹281 crore), and medical devices (₹157 crore). Smaller allocations went to speciality steel, textiles, bulk drugs, drones, and IT hardware.

The PLI schemes, launched with a ₹1.91 lakh crore outlay across 14 sectors, target manufacturing ecosystem strengthening and export enhancement. Employment generation crossed 14.39 lakh positions directly and indirectly.

The electronics push aligns with reducing import dependency while building domestic value chains. The schemes combine financial incentives with measurable production and incremental sales targets, attracting both domestic manufacturers and global players seeking India manufacturing bases.
