Hitachi – Anthropic Partner for Enterprise AI Deployment

What happened: Hitachi established a partnership with Anthropic to integrate Claude AI into its Lumada 3.0 platform. Target sectors include energy, transportation, manufacturing and finance infrastructure for system engineering, operations and cybersecurity applications. A joint talent program aims to develop 100,000 AI-trained professionals.

Why it matters: Hitachi will create a Frontier AI Deployment Center operating in North America, Europe and Asia. Initial teams combine Anthropic’s AI specialists with Hitachi’s infrastructure, IT, OT and cybersecurity personnel.
