Universal Calibration Services Pvt Ltd, formerly known as Universal Instruments, was set up in 1995 as a calibration laboratory in Pune, India. It has grown into one of India’s premier NABL-accredited (ISO/IEC 17025:2005) full-service calibration laboratories, offering calibration for electro-technical (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes), mechanical (e.g., vernier calipers, pressure gauges), thermal (e.g., thermometers, RTDs), pressure, torque, mass, volume, vibration, and accelerometer instruments. Since 2018, its testing division has provided material testing services, such as chemical analysis, salt spray testing, weld penetration, and metallurgical testing for tubular products, bars, plates, wires, castings, and fasteners. Serving industries such as automotive, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing, the company operates an environmentally controlled multi-laboratory facility and supplies on-site calibration.
