Moglix Brings In Former Symphony CEO to Scale Emerging Business Lines

B2B industrial platform Moglix has appointed Amit Kumar as Managing Director and Chief Business Officer. Based in Ahmedabad, he’ll build and scale emerging business segments.

Kumar spent nearly five years as Group CEO at Symphony Limited, driving P&L growth, supply chain restructuring, and digital adoption. Before that, he advised enterprises at KPMG India, EY, and PwC across automotive, chemicals, FMCG, and industrial manufacturing.

He holds degrees from IIT Kanpur and IIM Ahmedabad. This marks Moglix’s second major leadership hire in 2026—Animesh Srivastava joined as CTO in March. Founded in 2015, Moglix has raised approximately $440 million and operates a digital platform for industrial supplies.
