Isuzu Motors India has appointed Takeshi Hirano as Deputy Managing Director, succeeding Toru Kishimoto who moves to a new assignment at the parent company in Japan. The appointment brings experienced leadership to the Japanese automaker’s Indian operations.
Hirano, currently with the Isuzu Business Division at Mitsubishi Corporation in Japan, brings over two decades of distribution and marketing experience across global markets for Isuzu. His career spans various roles overseeing operations for both Isuzu Motors and Mitsubishi Corporation across different international markets.
Notably, Hirano is familiar with the Indian automotive landscape, having previously served at Isuzu Motors India as Vice President for Sales and Marketing. During that earlier tenure, he played a pivotal role in establishing the brand’s market foundation and strengthening its sales and marketing operations in the country.
