Kerala-based Genrobotics has secured a contract with PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency, following rigorous international evaluation involving more than 600 competing firms. The selection represents a landmark achievement for Indian deep-tech engineering, validating that domestically developed robotics meet stringent global standards for safety, efficiency, and mission-critical reliability.
The agreement deploys advanced robotic systems into Singapore’s sewer and water management operations. These platforms perform inspection and cleaning tasks in hazardous environments, enabling real-time infrastructure monitoring while eliminating human entry into toxic or dangerous underground spaces. The deployment supports sustainable urban water management across the city-state.
A government-appointed expert committee awarded the contract after comprehensive technical validation of Genrobotics’ engineering capabilities and operational track record. Winning against 600 international firms confirms technological superiority of the company’s platforms designed for complex, high-risk environments.
Singapore joins expanding international markets utilizing Genrobotics technology. Since 2022, the company maintains partnership with Indah Water in Malaysia and established presence in the United Arab Emirates, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.
