Doosan Robotics will supply more than 100 manufacturing robot solutions to Kwangjin Group through 2027.
Kwangjin Group specializes in automotive door system components—window regulators and door modules—operating production facilities across the United States, Mexico, India, and Vietnam. Its customer roster includes General Motors, Ford, Navistar, Volkswagen, Hyundai Motor, and Honda.
The partnership validates Doosan’s technological capabilities within the global automotive supply chain, given the tight tolerances and quality requirements major automakers demand.
Doosan’s manufacturing solutions work without requiring modifications to existing factory layouts—a practical advantage for established facilities where production line reconfiguration carries high costs and downtime risks. The systems offer high safety levels and precision while enabling effective human-robot collaboration, addressing one of collaborative robotics’ core challenges.
