Polycab India has appointed Gyan Pandey as Executive President and Chief Digital & Information Officer, effective February 16, 2026, as the wires-to-FMCG giant looks to accelerate its technology transformation.
Pandey brings over 25 years of cross-industry experience. He was most recently Chief Digital Officer at Voltas (Tata Group), where he led a five-year digital roadmap and drove AI adoption across business units. Before that, he served as Global & Group CIO at Aurobindo Pharma, running IT operations across 16 countries. His career spans Oracle, Genpact, Panasonic, and Qatar Petrochemical Company.
At Polycab, he takes charge of digital, IT, and cybersecurity, with a mandate to scale AI and GenAI adoption enterprise-wide. The appointment comes as Polycab reported a 46% year-on-year revenue jump to ₹7,636 crore in Q3 FY26 — and signals the company intends its digital infrastructure to keep pace with its growth.
