Gather AI Secures $40M to Expand Physical Intelligence Platform for Warehouses

US based Gather AI has completed a $40 million Series B financing led by Smith Point Capital Management, bringing total capital raised to $74 million as the company scales deployment of its Physical AI platform across global logistics operations. The round included participation from Bain Capital Ventures, Tribeca Venture Partners, Bling Capital, Dundee Venture Capital, XRC Ventures, and new investor The Hillman Company.

Unlike conventional AI systems trained on text and internet images, Gather AI’s models learn from millions of proprietary warehouse photographs, enabling robots and drones to interpret real-world environments with exceptional accuracy. The platform addresses a fundamental challenge in supply chain management: the persistent gap between what digital inventory systems believe is happening and actual conditions on warehouse floors. It has  has become the operational standard for major logistics and manufacturing enterprises in the US including GEODIS, NFI Industries, Kwik Trip, Axon, dnata, Barrett Distribution, and Langham Logistics.
