The maxon Group’s board has appointed Andreas Richter, currently COO and Deputy CEO, as its next chief executive. Richter will take over from Eugen Elmiger in March 2027. Elmiger, who has led the company since 2011, will become Vice Chairman of the Board. Richter joined maxon in 2020 and has been responsible for all production sites since then. CTO Stefan Müller will also become Deputy CEO. Daniel von Wyl, head of the Sachseln site, will take over as COO.
