Schneider Electric has promoted Sumati Sahgal to Vice President for Secure Power and Data Centres, Greater India Zone. She moves from her role as VP for Home Solutions, where she led portfolio innovation and market transformation.
Sahgal brings over 20 years of cross-industry experience, with previous leadership positions at Lenovo, Bharti Airtel, and HSBC. She holds an MBA in Marketing from NMIMS and a B.Com from Delhi University.
The appointment comes amid surging demand for data center infrastructure driven by AI and digital technologies. Sahgal will focus on accelerating growth in the Cloud and Service Provider segment while expanding enterprise partnerships.
