Physical AI Startup RLWRLD Raises $26M for Industrial Robot Training

Seoul-based RLWRLD has closed a $26 million Seed 2 funding round, bringing total seed capital to $41 million as the company develops robotics foundation models trained directly inside operational industrial environments rather than laboratories.

RLWRLD brings strategic investors with large-scale industrial operations – this serves as testing and training environments . Participants include Headline Asia and Z Venture Capital as financial investors, alongside CJ Logistics, Kakao Investment, Lotte Ventures, Hanwha Asset Management, and Mirae Asset-Emart Investment Fund as strategic partners.

Founded in 2024, RLWRLD builds AI models enabling robots to perform complex manipulation tasks in warehouses and manufacturing facilities. The company’s approach differs from competitors by training foundation models using high-precision multimodal data collected inside live factories, warehouses, and service environments and not clean lab settings.

Company has several POC and robotics transformation projects across logistics, distribution, and service environments in South Korea and Japan. It  plans to unveil its robotics foundation model in the first half of 2026.
