Program to help global companies establish and scale strategic offshore hubs in India. The initiative targets more than 50 companies over the next three years.
India’s Global Capability Center ecosystem is projected to grow nearly 70%, targeting $110 billion in 2030 from current levels. NTT identified India as a standout market due to its talent pool and technical capabilities. The program addresses a specific gap, where fewer than 20% of GCCs currently use AI as a core capability despite their evolution into global innovation engines.
The program covers three areas: supporting GCC establishment from planning and governance design through talent development and process optimization; accelerating innovation via agentic AI, generative AI, high-performance computing, digital twin, smart robotics, blockchain, and IOWN; and promoting co-creation R&D from proof-of-concept to commercialization through a global network of innovation centers.
NTT DATA has already advanced initiatives with Unilever hub in Bengaluru, supporting global innovation strategy formulation and R&D technology utilization. The company is also working with Densa international India on digital platform development for mobility circular economy and integrated manufacturing, plus a leading global automotive company on digital twin technology and process improvements
