The commissioned plant is a state-of-the-art Pilnox TDQ/-TMQ manufacturing facility at Dahej in Gujarat. It was announced last year and has come along at an investment of around ₹250 crore .The facility will go on to strengthen its rubber chemicals portfolio.
The main manufacturing is targeted at Pilnox TDQ/TMQ range- which consists of critical anti-degradants for rubber , essential for tyre durability, performance, and safety and some non-tyre applications.
NOCIL with its existing capacity of 115,000 MTA of Rubber Chemicals holds an estimated 40% share of India’s rubber chemicals market , the expansion adds another 20% to the current capacity.
The facility will reinforce the company’s ability to meet growing domestic and global demand. The expansion is aligned with NOCIL’s long-term approach of contributing to a more self-reliant rubber chemicals value chain in India, at a time when global supply chains are being redefined.
