Hyderabad-based MIC Electronics enters into a strategic partnership with Switzerland’s GHS Technologies GmbH to co-develop, manufacture, and supply advanced material handling solutions for the Indian market.
This marks a significant step into the industrial material handling segment, building on its existing strengths in electronics manufacturing and systems integration. GHS Technologies, known for European-standard engineering, brings the design expertise, while MIC provides the manufacturing muscle and on-ground execution capability within India.
The timing is well-placed. India’s material handling market is projected to grow at over 10 per cent CAGR through 2030, backed by sustained infrastructure and manufacturing investments. Globally, the industry is valued at over USD 200 billion, making India one of its fastest-growing pockets.
