Jetway Ships Intel W880-Based Motherboard for Industrial Workstations

Jetway has released the ATX-ARS1-W880, an ATX form factor motherboard built around Intel’s W880 chipset for industrial workstation applications. The board supports Intel Core Ultra Processors Series 2 and targets factory automation and equipment manufacturing deployments.

The motherboard features four DDR5 6400 MT/s DIMM slots with ECC support, reaching 256GB total capacity. Seven PCIe slots include two Gen 5 x16 physical slots for multi-GPU or specialized motion control cards. Networking comes via three 2.5GbE LAN ports using Intel i226 controllers.

Display connectivity spans four independent outputs through dual HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4a, and VGA ports. Storage options include two M.2 M-key slots for NVMe SSDs alongside 16 USB ports and up to six COM ports for legacy device integration.

The board operates across -20°C to 60°C, meeting industrial temperature requirements. Long-lifecycle availability positions the platform for OEM and system integrator deployments requiring stable, predictable supply chains.

The W880 chipset brings high-core-count processing with integrated AI acceleration capabilities. ECC memory support addresses data integrity requirements in continuous operation environments where system uptime directly impacts production schedules.

Jetway’s release targets industrial computing segments moving toward AI-enhanced workflows while maintaining backward compatibility with existing peripheral infrastructure through extensive I/O options.
