Advanced Rail Controls has secured an Rs 84.68 crore contract from Indian Railways for wireless locomotive control systems. The 18-month deal covers supply, installation, and commissioning.
The system enables remote locomotive operations and real-time data transfer, eliminating physical linkages and reducing response time during shunting, maintenance, and emergency scenarios.
Advanced Rail Controls, a wholly owned subsidiary of Concord Control Systems and an RDSO-approved vendor, is already executing KAVACH 4.0 orders worth Rs 1.85 billion. With recent wins across safety and wireless systems, Concord’s total order book now exceeds Rs 450 crore.
The contract reflects Indian Railways’ continued investment in indigenous automation, safety, and digital control technologies.
