India’s electronics manufacturing output has grown six-fold over the past decade. But manufacturers previously had to route application testing overseas or defer it entirely—slowing development cycles and delaying time to market. Henkel’s centre changes that equation by bringing co-development, testing, and validation onshore.
The facility serves five sectors: telecom and 5G infrastructure, data centers and AI computing, power electronics and EV systems, industrial automation, and medical electronics. Capabilities span thermal management testing, precision dispensing systems, electrical characterization tools, and rapid-cure chambers. Around 60-65% of the investment went into advanced lab and testing equipment.
